8:00pm - Social Dancing
Visit us for more details and online registration
Get ready to groove and shake at our Vinyl Vibe dance party this Saturday! Dust off those bell-bottoms, tease up that hair, and join us for a night of funky beats and retro vibes. Whether you're into disco, rock 'n' roll, or anything in between, there'll be something for everyone to dance to. Swing dance styles really jive with this theme, so expect lots of East Coast, West Coast, Hustle, Carolina Shag, and Lindy. But don't worry - the Ballroom and Latin styles will get their time on the floor too.
Don't miss out on the fun – mark your calendar and come boogie with us this Saturday. See you on the dance floor!
Bring a dish to share and earn the title of most groovy dude or dude-ette.
It's not required for dance parties, but it really makes our lives easier when you tell us you're coming ahead of time. Just reply to this email to let us know you'll be there and if you're bringing anyone with you.

Friday Beginner Workshops Starting April 19 will feature...
American Tango
On Fridays April 19, April 26, and May 3 - Please register by noon that day.
American Tango is friendliest of the Tangos danced around the world, but still smooth and powerful - really a little exciting. If you've been looking for the dramatic side of partner dance, this is it.
Friday Beginer Workshops offer a unique balance of flexibility and repetition that's perfect for the beginner dancer with a hectic schedule. Each lesson is completely independent - you are welcome to join in at any time with absolutely no experience. Each week starts over from the beginning of the feature dance and then progresses to something different. If you attend all three weeks, you will see the basic 3 times but also learn something different each week to add to your collection.

April Showers Playlist
|
April is known as a soggy month - and we've definitely had a few dreary, soggy days. This got me thinking about this playlist orginally shared in 2021. I remember looking though our music library and being surprised there were so many options for a river themed playlist. Do you think we should make it a dance party? I haven't decided on a theme for May 11 yet... But what would we call it? “Riverdance” is taken. Please check out the whole list at https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLGEmFFdzKkkZNVb9esHJr5Fr-6IOUyQF9 - it’s more than 30 songs long, and still growing.
See all of our YouTube Playlists at https://www.youtube.com/user/SapphireBallroom/playlists
These playlists are always changing, so come back frequently. If you have a suggestion, we’d love to hear it! Send us a link at info@sapphiredance.com.
If you read our newsletter frequently, you know by now that we frequently publish a playlist of dance music, usually with some kind of quirky theme (like songs about rivers). But do you know we also have a large library of music just for you to practice to?
Visit our YouTube Channel “Songs for Practice” and you’ll find 20+ playlists organized by dance style. There’s one for Country Two-Step, one for Bachata, a big one for West Coast Swing, one for almost every style we teach. And they are always growing and improving. We'd love your input - if you have a suggestion, let us know by email at info@sapphiredance.com or by Facebook message!

Sapphire's group classes and workshops are always small, low stress, and fun. They are a great way to meet other people who have also decided to learn to dance, as well as get to know our teaching staff. It doesn't take any long-term investment to get started, no special clothing or shoes - just something comfortable to wear and a sense of adventure. So, take the plunge and try it out.
All classes (in person or online) require registration by noon the day the class starts. We are happy to add late-comers if we can, but classes may be cancelled or rescheduled if registration is low.
Four ways to register, just choose one and we'll take care of the rest:
1 - reply to this email info@sapphiredance.com;
2 - register and pay at the same time at our online store at SapphireBallroom.square.site;
3 - talk to your favorite Sapphire Staff member;
4 - give us a ring at 540-382-8782.
Thanks for reading; we hope you found something you liked. Until we see you again, happy dancing!
