Line Dance extra-fun fun-ness
on Saturday, January 14

Line Dance choreographer, teacher, awesome dancer, and all-around fun person Dustin Betts will be visiting Sapphire on Saturday, January 14, for an afternoon of workshops and staying for the Dance Party that evening!

We met Dustin though his friendship with one of the staff here at Sapphire, Lisa Utz (the driving force behind our line dance classes). They have been dancing together for years at various line dance weekends across the country. He has been dancing for his entire life, including some partner dancing. But Line Dance is one of his favorites.

Schedule

3:00-4:00p - Intermediate/Not-beginner Line Dance
Participants should be comfortable with several common line dance figures, complex rhythms, and able to handle multiple direction changes. This exciting workshop might leave our brains hurting, but our souls will be satisfied.

4:00-4:30p - Break 
Relax, practice, socialize, or warm up if you're just arriving

4:30-5:30p - Beginner-Friendly Line Dance
No experience required. This class is sure to be a blast: filled with fun music, lots of humor, and some really good dances. Expect to learn 1 to 3 beginner-friendly line dances which will absolutely appear in the dance party later in the day.

5:30-7:30p - Dinner
Grab some food from one of our local restaurants and plan to come back for the Dance Party at 7:30pm.

$30 for 2 workshops plus complementary admission to the evening Dance Party

Want to review & perfect what you learned with Dustin? Come back on Tuesday, Jan 17 at 7pm, for Beginner-Level review. Or join us on Monday, Jan 23 at 8pm, to revisit the advanced material.

Want to attend the Intermediate workshop, but not sure if you qualify? Join us on Jan 9 for ALD with Lisa where we will preparing for Dustin's visit by learning some common, more challenging dances.

Sapphire's group classes and workshops are always small, low stress, and fun. They are a great way to meet other people who have also decided to learn to dance, as well as get to know our teaching staff. It doesn't take any long-term investment to get started, no special clothing or shoes - just something comfortable to wear and a sense of adventure. So, take the plunge and try it out.

All classes (in person or online) require registration by noon the day the class starts. We are happy to add late-comers if we can, but classes may be cancelled or rescheduled if registration is low.
