Swing by for an afternoon of fun |
 I'm super excited about swinging by Nesselrod on the New for Sapphire's first outdoor Dance Party of the year on April 16. We will have an East Coast Swing lesson and an intro to Carolina Shag lesson 4:00-5:30. Then we'll swing into gear for a dance party heavy in those featured styles, but also including lots of other dance music so you can groove the afternoon away.
We will have 4 of these outdoor, afternoon parties this year, typically on the second Sunday of the month:
- April 16 (the 3rd Sunday),
- June 11,
- August 13,
- October 8.
By request, each one will have a Swing lesson to start them, then we'll get a little bit of a second style afterwards. That way, if you come to all four, you'll get 4 hours of Swing instruction plus the chance to learn, dance, and enjoy a few other populuar styles as well. If you've been to a Friday Workshop, it will be a lot like that, only with more time and with a bit of something for more expereinced dancers as well.

Friday Night Bachata Then Fox Trot
We have one more night of sassy Bachata and then Fridays are gonna get FOXY! Want the class of an old-time movie? The flair of a DWTS finalist? Fox Trot will get you there. This smooth, suave dance will have you gliding across the floor in no time.
Missed last week? No problem. Each week we teach a 40-50 minute, "starting with the basics" lesson in a fun, popular dance style. And then, finish off the hour with a little taste of a style that will be on the schedule later in the season. Hustle will be on tap starting in May. Hmmmm. Need an awesome Mother's Day present? Sapphire's group classes and workshops are always small, low stress, and fun. They are a great way to meet other people who have also decided to learn to dance, as well as get to know our teaching staff. It doesn't take any long-term investment to get started, no special clothing or shoes - just something comfortable to wear and a sense of adventure. So, take the plunge and try it out.
All classes (in person or online) require registration by noon the day the class starts. We are happy to add late-comers if we can, but classes may be cancelled or rescheduled if registration is low.
Five ways to register, just choose one and we'll take care of the rest:
