Dance through your Holidays
with a kind of off-beat Holiday Playlist.
You may have noticed that we split our usual long-and-meaty monthly newsletter into 3 smaller newsletter this time. Our thought is to give you less to do all at once, give us fewer headaches putting it all together, and hopefully give you a happy piece of news in your inbox a little more often. This email will be wrapping our December Newsletter for 2022 with a fun holiday-themed playlist. If you want to dance to these songs and many more, please join us Friday at 5:30 for December's Happy Hour and Cookie Munch. It's will start a little later than usual, run as long as we want it to (there's no FBW to work around), and will feature a trial run of the Holiday Hustle - a routine that some students have been working on.
(Sing it...)
Last Christmas, I gave you a playlist, and the very next day I added updates. This year, for even more cheer, I'm making another update…
Okay-okay! Don’t close your app - I’ll stop singing now! Truly, I still adore the playlist from last Christmas and, just as true, I did start adding to it the day after sending the newsletter out. So here are some highlights from the newly-re-up, updated 2020 Holiday Playlist. They are still still quirky and fun, still (mostly) not the songs you’ve already heard five million times.
You can find our 2020 Holiday Playlist online on our YouTube Channel at https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLGEmFFdzKkkbGboz_LX217GJHSSTAus9_

December Happy Hour Practice Party
Friday, December 16, 5:30 pm
There's no alcohol at this happy hour, just awesome dancing to fun music. It's not quite a Dance Party, but it is a nice, relaxed chance to practice some of your favorite dance moves. Looking for a mellow meeting of fellow dancer-people with some marshmallow treats on the side? This practice session is just what you need. As always, feel free to ask for your favorite tunes or dance styles at the party! Cookies of all sorts are welcome. We'll even provide some healthy snacks for you self-disciplined people (go you!).

Sapphire's group classes and workshops are always small, low stress, and fun. They are a great way to meet other people who have also decided to learn to dance, as well as get to know our teaching staff. It doesn't take any long-term investment to get started, no special clothing or shoes - just something comfortable to wear and a sense of adventure. So, take the plunge and try it out.
All classes (in person or online) require registration by noon the day the class starts. We are happy to add late-comers if we can, but classes may be cancelled or rescheduled if registration is low.
Five ways to register, just choose one and we'll take care of the rest:
1 - reply to this email info@sapphiredance.com;
2 - register and pay at the same time at our online store at SapphireBallroom.square.site;
3 - talk to your favorite Sapphire Staff member;
4 - give us a ring at 540-382-8782;
5 - Blacksburg Group classes are best registered through the Blacksburg Community Center webpage.
Thanks for reading; we hope you found something you liked. Until we see you again, happy dancing! |
