5. Group Classes @ Blacksburg Community Center and Sapphire, Jan 20, 21, & 22

Ballroom, Latin, Swing - we’ve got them all!

The first session of group classes in Blacksburg is starting soon, and they’ve got a little something for everyone. For you returning dancers, we have Level 3 Waltz and Level 4 Hustle. For new folks, there’s Night Club 2-Step (a great slow dance for weddings and special occasions), Merengue (a feisty but easy, Latin party-time dance), beginning Waltz (graceful and romantic), and East Coast Swing (energetic and full of spins).

To add to the fun, we’re adding a new face. Liz will be bringing her know-how, enthusiasm, and quirky sense of humor to Wednesday night classes as she takes over teaching them starting in January. Yay, Liz!

And in Christiansburg, we’ve got Lane teaching a fantastic Night Club 2-Step Technique Class, starting at 8:00 on Monday, Jan 20. It’s going to be an exciting part of our already hopping Monday night line-up of intermediate and advanced workshops.

Check out all these awesome classes starting January 20-22: http://www.sapphiredance.com/groupclasses.php.

8. Dance @ Sapphire every Friday - perfect for a New Year’s resolution or for Valentine's Day

sweetsheartsSo, you decided to try something new this year. To learn something, meet new people.

Or, you’re thinking your sweetheart really deserves something more creative than a greeting card or box of chocolates.

Either way, Sapphire has your solution: beginner workshops every Friday night! (Ok, so we cancel them sometimes for a holiday or special event, but really, almost every Friday.)

What’s so cool about these workshops?

  1. They’re affordable - Cheaper Than A Movie is their name, and it is definitely true.

  2. They’re flexible - because they are workshops, every week we start at the beginning - you can come when you want, miss when you need to. No commitments, no worries.

  3. They’re fun - great teachers, interesting people, and beginner-friendly instruction make these workshops a party waiting to happen. They make a great date-night event or group outing.

So, come out this Friday (and the next) at 7:00 to Sapphire Ballroom on Main Street in Christiansburg and try something new, meet some friendly people, learn some dancing, and have some fun:
